Beginner 2 Spanish Language Course
- Level A1.2 (Term 4) - October 21nd - December 9th (8 weeks) | Tuesdays 6:00pm - 7:30pm. - YMCA Mango Hill Community Centre, Brisbane. - Price: $330 per person. This is a continuation course designed for students who have completed Beginner 1 (A1.1) or who already have a basic foundation in Spanish. At the A1.2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), you will develop further confidence in speaking, listening, reading, & writing through practical activities. You will expand your ability to use everyday vocabulary and phrases, engage in short social interactions, and express basic needs and preferences. Topics include talking about daily routines, describing family and friends, ordering food and drinks, shopping, and asking for directions. Grammar points introduced at this level include regular and irregular verbs in the present tense, gender and plural forms, and simple sentence structures. By the end of the course, you will be able to hold simple conversations, preparing you for the next stage of your language-learning journey at Spanish Level A2.1. |

Beginner 1 Spanish Language Course
- Level A1.1 (Term 4) - October 22nd - December 10th (8 weeks) | Wednesdays 6:00pm - 7:30pm. - YMCA Mango Hill Community Centre, Brisbane. - Price: $330 per person. This Spanish course for beginners is ideal for anyone looking to learn Spanish from scratch, with no previous knowledge required. Designed at the A1.1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), this comprehensive course focuses on building essential skills in beginner Spanish speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students will learn to understand and use common everyday expressions and simple phrases to meet basic communication needs. Also, you will learn how to introduce yourself and others, ask and answer questions about personal information, and interact in simple conversations. Whether you’re starting your language-learning journey for travel, work, or personal interest, this introductory Spanish language course provides a strong foundation. Upon completion, students are well-prepared to continue with Spanish Level A1.2. |

Beginner Spanish Course for Families
- Level A1.1 (Term 4) - October 21nd - December 9th (8 weeks) | Tuesdays 4:00pm - 5:00 pm. - YMCA Mango Hill Community Centre, Brisbane. - Price: $390 per family of two. This Spanish program for families is designed to bring parents and children (all ages, but 8 to 14 recommended) together in a shared journey of language learning and cultural discovery. Through engaging conversations, interactive games, and collaborative activities, families will explore beginner-level Spanish in a fun, relaxed environment. Aligned with the A1.1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the course focuses on practical, everyday language that helps families talk about themselves, ask and answer simple questions, and enjoy basic conversations at home or while traveling. More than just a Spanish class for families, this experience builds communication skills while strengthening family bonds through playful learning and shared achievement.
